Join Dave Govatski, representing the Old Growth Forest Network, to learn about the remaining old growth stands here in the northeast! Dave is co-author of "Forests for the People: The Story of Eastern National Forests” and has a great knowledge of the woods that make our area so unique!
Dave will be teaching us the history and science behind some of the areas oldest trees and what makes them so unique. If you are cannot make the presentation or are looking to get out and see the trees for yourself, Dave will also be leading a guided walk through Franconia Notch on Saturday, April 9th! Click here to register for the walk.
This program is free and open to the public, with a suggested $5 donation to support other ACT’s events. Advanced registration is required.
