It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's definitely a bird! Join ACT at the Michelsen Conservation Area for a bird walk!
Come learn how to identify the different birds in the North Country with Linda Michelsen and Ginny Jeffryes. The walk will take place on the Michelsen Conservation Area in Landaff, NH, not regularly open to the public.
Linda Michelsen and her late husband, Jeffry, discovered a secluded old farm site in Landaff while cross-country skiing. They fell in love with the open fields and sweeping views to the west, and the towering trees that climbed up a steep ridge to the east. Last year, Linda placed a conservation easement on the land ensuring it will forever remain for the wildflowers, birds, and host of other wildlife that call it home.
This program is free and open to the public, but advanced registration is required.
