The Seeds of Vandana Shiva

The Colonial Theatre’s New Leaf series is created in partnership with the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust and highlights films about the natural world. 

How did the willful daughter of a Himalayan forest guard become Monsanto's worst nightmare? The Seeds of Vandana Shiva tells the remarkable life story of Gandhian eco-activist Dr. Vandana Shiva, how she stood up to the corporate Goliaths of industrial agriculture, rose to prominence in the food justice movement, and inspired an international crusade for change.

Join us on the patio at 7:00 PM for a pre-show reception hosted by the Littleton Co-op. The Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust will host a preshow discussion at 7:30 PM followed by a screening of the film The Seeds of Vandana Shiva.
