We are thrilled to be getting back to Bethlehem for August’s ‘Shoes & Brews taking you to a BTA trail you may not have discovered yet and back to the Wayside Inn! We are so lucky to live in a place where there are folks dedicated to serious fun outdoors like the BTA and amazing community partners like the Wayside Inn and so many more.
Join us for the next in ACT's Summer 'Shoes & Brews℠series on Saturday August 10th from 2:00 - 5:30 p.m.! The group will meet for a walk along some of Bethlehem’s trails being maintained by the Bethlehem Trails Association (BTA) at 2:00 p.m. then we’ll head indoors to the Wayside Inn for brews and snacks from 4 - 5:30 p.m. A big thanks to the Wayside Inn for not only hosting the event but sponsoring it by providing ACT drink specials and snacks.
Our ‘Shoes will help you explore new places and find adventure in own backyard. We'll move at a slow to moderate pace along old woods roads with some sections along Beaver Brook and Beaver Creek. The loop of approximately 2 miles total has some light to moderate elevation gain and a few open sections with views to the Mt Garfield ridgeline. Kids are encouraged to come along and dogs are also welcome!
After the walk the group will head to the Wayside Inn for the Brews where we’ll have refreshments and cool off with river views of the Ammonoosuc. Come enjoy a beverage, catch up with old friends, and get to know more folks in your community. All are welcome (bring a friend!) and are free to come and go as needed. The event will officially run from 4 pm to about 5:30pm but you're invited to stay and enjoy the delicious fair on the full menu!
