Bring the family for an owl prowl at the Whipple Field! Join us from 6pm - 7pm on Saturday, February 12th to search for some nocturnal friends! This event is family-focused and kids of all ages are encouraged to come, but please leave your pups at home.
Whipple Field, located behind Polly’s Pancake Parlor, is a great place for birding with its various perches and tree stands. With a near-full moon, this evening will be perfect for hearing and spotting different species of owls in the area!
The “prowl” will be a half-mile around the outside of the field and will have minimal elevation change. Dress appropriately for winter with warm layers and good traction!
