Follow up NH’s Maple Weekend in mid-March by joining ACT at Mount Cabot Maple in Lancaster for a sweet time! Join us to spend time with Mount Cabot Maple’s lead sugarmaker Morgan Hill and be one of the lucky few who gets to walk around the farm’s beautiful and diverse forest.
We’ll be heading out to the farm on Sunday, March 26th from 2 - 4 PM (Saturday is full!) for a loop through the sugarbush and to hear about how climate change is affecting maple farming. We’ll also get a glimpse into the sugaring process and cap it off with a sweet treat! Along the way, we’ll discuss how ACT supports agricultural conservation and how we're building resilience in the North Country by protecting ag lands.
This program is free to all participants, but registration is required to attend.
