Join us in Bethlehem on Sunday, July 8 to kick off ACT's Summer 2018 Shoes & Brews Series. Take a leisurely meadow walk with host and ACT Trustee, Margaret Gale. Learn about some native landscape plants for insect pollinators and see some unusual milkweed varieties--hopefully in bloom! The walk and presentation will start at 11 a.m. and last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours with ample time to ask questions.
Please leave your pooches at home, this is a no-dogs event.
The outdoor portion will wrap up around 12:30 p.m. with a 30 minute window for the group to make its way to the aprés-walk starting at 1 p.m. at Rek'-lis Brewing. Come enjoy a local brew with your local land trust at Rek’-lis on Main St in Bethlehem. Catch up with old friends and meet new ones in your community over snacks and refreshments! All are free to come and go as needed. You’re invited to stay for a sit down meal and enjoy the new space!
Registration for the hike portion of this event is required - for your safety and enjoyment we must cap the walk at 15 participants so please be sure to pre-register ASAP. Be aware registration closes on Friday, July 6th. Once registered, you will receive an e-mail with details on the meeting location. Registration for Rek’-lis Brewing is appreciated so organizers can plan accordingly.
Not able to make it to both portions? You can join either or both. If you're only coming to Rek’-lis, please bring a friend(s)!
