Mid-week Summer Hikes (& Picnics) Lawrence Forest

  • Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust 729 Main St Franconia, NH 03580 USA (map)

ACT's first mid-week summer hike of the season is Wednesday, July 11, at 10 a.m. Bring a friend and join us for an easy walk along the trails of Fox Hill Park to the Lawrence Forest in Franconia. Enjoy the sights and sounds of summer in the North Country as we walk along the Gale River and Meadow Brook, looking for beaver, birds, and other wildlife.

After the walk, take a load off and get social with your fellow hikers. Bring a bag lunch to stay for an optional post-walk picnic.

The summer nature walks are open to all ages and abilities. This walk is a loop, approximately 2 miles long with some mild elevation gains/losses. Kids are encouraged to come but please leave your pups at home.
