Join ACT’s next ‘Shoes & Brews on Saturday, March 14 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. on the Bretton Woods Nordic Trails ! We’ll start with a snowshoe along a lovely riverside trail then head to The Grille at the Nordic Center for brews and snacks from about 2:30 - 4 pm!
The 'Shoes will start at 12:30 p.m. with a walk up and back along the river to Middle Falls or Upper Falls depending on the group’s speed. The walk is approx. 3-miles with about 500 feet of elevation gain; depending on snow conditions, plan on wearing snowshoes or light traction and bring trekking poles. All ages and abilities are welcome, but please leave your pups at home for this one.
We’ll head right from the trail to the Brews in The Grille at the Nordic Center to enjoy some light snacks and refreshments. Come to catch up with old friends and get to know new ones. All are welcome and free to come and go as needed. The Brews will officially run from 2:30 to about 4 p.m. when the restaurant closes.
ACT is excited to be partnering with Bretton Woods for the very first time on this ‘Shoes & Brews. A big thanks to them for hosting the event!
Registration for the ‘Shoes is required and is strictly limited to 15 participants, so please be sure to register ASAP as the hike will fill up quickly. Registration for the Brews is not required but is very much appreciated to help organizers plan accordingly. Registration closes at noon on Friday, March 13th.

What to Wear: Comfortable active outdoor clothing, boots, a hat.
What to Bring: Snowshoes (weather dependent), trekking poles (optional), snacks, and some water or something warm. Camera, nature guidebooks, and binoculars (optional).
