Gale Family Forest Trail Design Walk & Talk

Join ACT’s Trails Manager and Conservation Projects Assistant Conor McCourt for a walk and talk on one of ACT’s conserved properties, the Gale Family Forest!

Conor will be discuss trail building, layout, design, process, tree clearing, construction and everything that goes into consideration before building a new recreational trail like the one he is planning for this property.

We will be walking a flagged trail to the pond which will be the site of a future wildlife viewing platform and boardwalk .

Carpooling / parking instructions will be sent out closer to the event!

This tour will require ability to walk easily over uneven-ground. Advanced registration is required and for safety group size will be capped at 15.
