Wells Road Timber Harvest Walk Through

Join us for a guided walking tour of a sustainable timber harvest on ACT’s Wells Rd properties. This land is being managed for wildlife habitat, forestry, and public recreation.

• Learn about how ACT is using timber harvesting to promote forest resources, wildlife habitat, and public recreation;

• See different harvest practices and new types of logging equipment.  This harvest is using a cut-to-length and forwarding system, which is a sophisticated low impact logging technique;

• Explore a beautiful property during this guided hike.

Carpooling / parking instructions will be sent out closer to the event!

This tour will require ability to walk easily over uneven-ground. Advanced registration is required and for safety group size will be capped at 15.
