The Dirt on Dirt: Bigger Better Compost

  • Franconia Town Hall 241 Main St Franconia, NH 03580 (map)

Did you know yard trimmings and food residuals together constitute 27 percent of the US municipal solid waste stream? Waste management and recycling are hot topics in our state at the moment, and here's your chance to learn more about what it would take to set up a composting system on a larger scale.

Join us at the Franconia Town Hall on Friday, June 14th, to learn what the benefits of composting on a town or community level could be and what it would take to make composting on a large scale a reality. Leading are special guest speakers from the Northeast Resource Recovery Association, Sarah McGraw and Cindy Sterling.

Registration is not required but is very much appreciated so organizers can plan accordingly.

Register now to be entered in the running for an ACT door prize!
