July 'Shoes & Brews℠ to Spruce Knob in Dalton & Copper Pig Brewery!

  • Copper Pig Brewery 1 Middle St Lancaster, NH 03584 (map)

We are really excited to bring ACT’s ‘Shoes & Brews to a part of the North Country you may not get to explore often. Striving not just for fun, but to help you find new places and discover adventure in own backyard.

Join us on Saturday July 13th from 1:45 - 5:00 p.m. for ACT's Summer 'Shoes & Brews℠series kick off in Coös County! Explore trails on land not usually accessible to public in Dalton. We’ll head up Spruce Knob on wide wooded paths to a panoramic view of the CT River and surrounding ranges. We’ll then make our way down to the Copper Pig Brewery in Lancaster for a chance to catch up and cool off.

The group will meet for a for a moderate hike with gorgeous views at 1:45 p.m. then head into Lancaster to the Copper Pig for brews and snacks from 3:30 - 5 p.m. We'll be moving at a slow to moderate pace along maintained trails up to what the landowners call “Spruce Knob”. The planned up and back is approximately 2 miles total with light to moderate elevation ( 400ft of elevation gain). Kids are encouraged to come along and dogs are also welcome!

After the walk the group will head to the Copper Pig in Lancaster for the Brews where we’ll have a refreshing beverage or two and snacks. Come to cool off, catch up with old friends, and get to know more folks who love spending time outside just like you! All are welcome (bring a friend!) and are free to come and go as needed. The event will officially run from 3:30 pm to about 5 pm. As always you're invited to stay and enjoy the delicious fare on the full menu! A big thanks to the Copper Pig for hosting this event for the very first time.

Not able to make it to both portions? We'd love to see you at either please just leave a note in the registration to let us know so we can plan accordingly. If you're only coming to the Copper Pig, please bring a friend(s)!
