Join ACT, the Littleton Co-op, and Tim Wennrich of Meadowstone Farm at the Colonial Theatre on Sept 16th at 6:30 pm for what's bound to be a fun and eye-opening evening!
We'll start with an outdoor reception and cash bar on the patio with food made by the masterminds at the Littleton Co-op. Every appetizer will be a recipe incorporating food that might normally go in your compost pile or trash bin. The Co-op will share recipes!
Wasted! The Story of Food Waste will start at 7:30 pm. An informative and entertaining documentary produced by celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, "Wasted!" takes you worldwide, showing the 1.3 billion tons of food that get thrown out each year and the people fighting to prevent it.
Then stick around after the film for a Q&A session with Tim Wennrich of Meadowstone Farm to talk about composting in our region and ways you can tackle reducing your food waste at home.
Tickets are available to buy here or the "Buy Now" button.
We expect this event to sell out quickly so please get your tickets early!
