Crocker Preserve Nature Walk

Hike the Crocker Preserve with us and enjoy this privately owned parcel. For more than 100 years the Crocker family has owned the land, originally purchased to preserve the forest, and through their generosity ACT is in the process of conserving 65 acres of it. The wooded property is relatively flat and features a beautiful marsh, pond & wetlands.

The summer nature walks are open to hikers of all ages and abilities, the walk is short (less than a mile) and very flat with a nice view of the pond on property. Kids are encouraged to come along and dogs are always welcome!

What:    The 3rd of ACT's 5 Summer Hikes Series!
When:  Wednesday, August 2nd 2017
What Time:    3 - 6 p.m.
What to Wear: Comfortable clothing for being active outdoors, boots or sneakers you don't mind getting muddy, and a hat.
What to Bring: Binoculars, camera, bug dope, snacks, and plenty of water.
Free!     Donations gladly accepted.
Where: Park at the ACT office parking lot at 729 Main Street, Franconia (Plain Kate's), and we will carpool to the trailhead.
