Film: This Changes Everything

FILM: THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING

Friday, May 13, 7:30p.m.
Colonial Theater, Bethlehem

Inspired by Naomi Klein's international non-fiction bestseller of the same name, the film This Changes Everything highlights seven powerful stories of communities that are already experiencing the impacts of climate change.  "Interwoven with these stories of struggle is Klein's narration, connecting the carbon in the air with the economic system that put it there.  Throughout the film, Klein builds to her most controversial and exciting idea:  that we can seize the existential crisis of climate change to transform our failed economic system into something radically better."

We were pleased to have 150 people attend this free screening of the film, and many stayed afterwards to engage in a discussion about what we can be doing in our community to combat climate change.  This event was sponsored by NextGen Climate, the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust, the Bethlehem Conservation Commission, and the Colonial Theater.
