Intro to Winter Hiking Workshop
Join ACT and professional mountain guide, Calvin Tague, for an introduction to winter hiking workshop. If you are interested in learning the introductory skills required to hike in the winter in the White Mountains, this workshop is for you! We will cover all the basics you will need to know before venturing out on a winter hike, including how to pick trails, gear, maps, useful apps, emergency planning and more.
Please bring a pen and paper if you would like to take notes, be ready to handle and practice using gear, and have questions for our certified instructor. No previous winter hiking experience is required.
